Memorable events: At Eighth & I Marine Barracks D.C. - Played for the sunset and Moonlight parades. Also played with the D & B Corps and the Marine Band in the inauguration Parade for President Eisenhower in 1957.

While in the 3rd Marine Division Band we participated with John Wayne at a USO show.
